‘Unfortunately disrupting services is a strategy which is frequently used in the run-up to the elections to generate negative sentiment towards the administration. On behalf of the City, these actions are condemned as those who are affected the worst are those living in the community where the protests are occurring. While we respect the right to protest this should not be done at the expense of others,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Water and Waste, Councillor Xanthea Limberg.
