Transport for Cape Town, the City of Cape Town's transport authority, intends to restore the historic wooden bridge which crosses the Diep River estuary at Woodbridge Island. Restoration of the bridge is required so that it can once again be used for its intended purpose as a pedestrian bridge.
Call for public participation
A public meeting will be held to provide information on the bridge restoration. Residents are invited to attend this public meeting to provide input to the project proposal, and obtain information from the project team.
