The City of Cape Town wants to inform residents and all road users of partial road closures along Jakes Gerwel Drive on Monday, 15 August 2022, to accommodate much needed rehabilitation work at the Viking Way and Jakkelsvlei Avenue intersections.

Work will take place between 09:30-15:00. Traffic flow will be impacted and the City advises road users to consider alternative routes as far as possible.

Detour routes to accommodate traffic during this partial closure will be in place.

The City thanks commuters for their patience while the work is under way.
