The area that will be affected the most will be along Jamieson Road, Otter Close, Porcupine Way, Terrapin Lane, Gill Road, Court Street, Pentz Drive and Grey Avenue. The other areas may experience reduced water pressure as a result of the water supply network configuration in the area.

This work forms part of the City’s pipe replacement and upgrade programme which evaluates the water supply network in terms of the frequency and number of bursts and schedules it for replacement.

Residents are kindly requested to store water upfront in clean, sealed containers for domestic use while the work is being done and to keep their taps closed during this period to prevent water loss and / or damage when the water supply is restored.

The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused. However, it is imperative that it maintains its water supply infrastructure to the benefit of its consumers.
