​The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will be attending to a major water pipe burst in Elijah Loza Street (NY78) this morning, 5 July 2016. This will result in the disruption of the water supply to Gugulethu from 10:00 onwards. 
 
Residents are advised to store water for domestic consumption in clean sealed containers.
 
Water tankers will be moving through the area should additional water be required.
 
The City thanks residents for their understanding while we are trying our best to solve the pipe burst as soon as possible.
