City advises of planned water supply maintenance in Gugulethu and Nyanga
31 July 2023
The City’s Water and Sanitation Directorate will be doing planned work in the identified areas, which will result in water supply disruptions.Maintenance work – Pipe and valve installations, repairs and replacements
- Gugulethu and Nyanga
The main water supply to these areas will be shut off temporarily between 12:00 and 17:00 on Tuesday, 1 August 2023. This will enable the maintenance team to do an urgent reconnection to the water supply network and restore the settings after changes were made to accommodate a storm water pipeline upgrade. It will result in the disruption of the water supply for the duration of the exercise. Some areas will experience low water pressure and others no water.
The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused.
