City advises of planned electricity work in Hanover Park, Manenberg

The City advises residents in Hanover Park and Manenberg of upcoming necessary electricity supply interruptions for essential infrastructure maintenanceThe work will be carried out on a number of days between 20 and 23 May 2024 from 08:30 to 16:00, if all goes to plan. It is important to note that the supply interruptions will only affect the highlighted areas on the maps and only on the relevant dates.
Please note:
The electricity supply could be restored at any time and customers must please treat all electrical installations as live for the full duration of the interruption.
Prolonged outages may be experienced due to load-shedding. Maintenance may be postponed due to higher stages of load-shedding if necessary.
Residents are encouraged to switch off appliances as a precaution and to avoid damage caused by power surges when the power comes back on.
