Notice is hereby given in term of section 116(3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003 (MFMA) that the City of Cape Town (“the City”) intends to amend the contract listed in the table below:

| Tender 034Q/2021/22: Term Tender for the Maintenance, Redecoration, Alterations and Additions to Conventional and Heritage Buildings and Structures | The proposed amendments are to extend the Contract Period on a month-to-month basis for a period not exceeding twenty-five (25) months, from 02 December 2026 to 01 January 2029, or until the replacement tender is implemented, whichever occurs first, at the same rates, terms and conditions. The amendments further provide for the extension of the Contract Price Adjustment (CPA) period to 01 January 2029, and the inclusion of the work group indices inadvertently omitted from the Contract Data. | 1 December 2026 |
Notice is further given in accordance with section 21 of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act, No. 32 of 2000, that you can submit comments in respect of the proposed amendments.
