The City provides a free water allocation to subsistence farmers as well as organisations growing food for vulnerable groups. This extends to organisations with food gardens including orphanages, soup kitchens at schools, indigent old age homes, HIV/AIDS facilities, and facilities caring for women. Did you know?
An Inclusive City: The City provides a 10 kl free allocation of water per month to subsistence farms and other qualifying groups.
Step 1: Complete an affidavit at your local police station, supporting your application.
Step 2: Once you have completed the affidavit, you can submit it at any of the City’s walk in centres.
